Cartoon Network India will air TV movie “Chakra: The Invincible,” Stan Lee’s first Indian superhero project, on Nov. 30.

Pic was created by Lee’s Pow! Entertainment and Graphic India, a leading player in the country’s graphic novel space.

“Chakra: The Invincible” follows Raju, a boy from Mumbai whose mentor, the scientist Dr. Singh, develops a suit that activates the chakras of the human body and gives the user superpowers. Raju dons the suit to save his city from supervillains.

Indian artist Jeevan J. Kang, senior VP of creative at Graphic India, oversaw the visual development and created the character designs and art for the project.

“Chakra: The Invincible” will also soon be featured on “Angry Birds” creator Rovio Entertainment’s ToonsTV platform.

Cartoon Network India’s local programming includes mythological “Krishna and Balaram” and local versions of “My Gym Partner’s a Monkey” and “Johnny Bravo.” Past local successes include “The Adventures of…
